What is Chi Nei Tsang?

Chi Nei Tsang (Internal Organ Chi Massage)
Taoist sages observed that humans often develop energy blockages in and around their
internal organs. These blockages can constrict the flow of chi (bioenergy), eventually resulting
in physical ailments. Through Chi Nei Tsang techniques of navel and deep organ chi
massage--blockages, toxins, and excessive heat or cold is released and cleared from the body.
And, the sick chi (bioenergy) related to harmful emotions that cause stress is neutralized or
released from the body.
Chi Nei Tsang relieves abdominal congestion, assists lymphatic circulation and drainage,
releases "knots" in the abdominal wall and the deeper organ fascia, and frees the respiratory
diaphram. This allows for the free movement of chi (bioenergy) to and through the organs and
their meridians (pathways of bioenergy). Toxins that have been released in the session now
can be processed properly by the body.
In this way Chi Nei Tsang relieves stress at the core level, revitalizes and strengthens the
immune system, relieves back, neck, shoulder and leg pain by restoring bioenergetic efficency
and balance to the tan tien (the abdominal brain). It is then that our aches and pains are
alleviated, our digestive and elimination systems improve, our emotions serve us well, and
our mind is clear.
Chi Nei Tsang clients are considered to be students of their own bodies and chi (bioenergy).
Students are encouraged to learn and to practice techniques of Self-Chi Massage as well The
Inner Smile, The Six Healing Sounds and the Microcosmic Orbit meditations.
